This mosaic “tapestry” made on a hand-formed sculptural piece captures the vibrant and enchanting colors of autumn in a symphony of Smalti, stone, unglazed porcelain, and pieces of cables. The overall effect is one of playful but also organized complexity, much like the intricate balance of nature during the most extraordinary (and certainly my favorite!) season in New England. My intention when making this artwork was to celebrate autumn resplendent colors and immerse myself (and hopefully all viewers) in the rich tapestry of fall.
