Radish

I have always wanted to have a vegetable garden. Unfortunately, my yard does not have ample space for one. I decided that I would create some 'larger-than-life' Mosaic vegetables. The "Radish" is the second one I have created (a carrot was the first and a beet is in process).

I enjoy creating the form as well as mosaicking it. I have always been interested in sculpture and combing this with mosaic work is very fulfilling.

The piece is constructed of foam, cement, Italian Smalti and Briare Tile.
